CrossFit Girl Workout Megan

CrossFit Girl Workout Megan is a CrossFit benchmark (those workouts you repeat as a gauge to measure your improvement) that is quick. I use this workout frequently as a warmup for my CrossFit workouts.

CrossFit Girl WOD Megan:

21-15-9:

  • Burpees
  • Kettlebell swings (35 lbs)
  • Double unders

Definitely a nice little workout under 10 minutes to get your heartrate up and you nice and warm.

CrossFit Girl Workout Annie

Almost every CrossFitter has done CrossFit Girl Workout Annie. It consists of:

50-40-30-20-10:

  • Double Unders
  • Sit ups

This is a quick workout IF you have double unders. If you don’t have double unders or struggle, this workout can be frustrating to say the least.

CrossFit Girl Workout: Fran

CrossFit Girl Workout Fran is one of my favorites. It has two of my favorite CrossFit moves: thrusters and pull ups, and it’s a quick one.

I decided to do this work out for my Sunday work out because I hadn’t done it in over two years, and I didn’t want a long one or a heavy one.

The Perfect Saturday Morning Workout

Usually, I’m so beat up from the week of CrossFit by Friday that I can’t wait to have the weekend to recover.

This week was not a hard week for several reasons:

  • I was still recovering from last weekend’s CrossFit competition
  • I was struggling mentally with doing CrossFit workouts
  • There weren’t a lot of good ones planned by the gyms I follow

So, I decided to work out on Saturday morning. I have been eyeing the new CrossFit Girl Workout, Grettel, for a while now so I did it this morning.

CrossFit Grettel is:

10 Rounds for Time of:

  • 3 Clean & Jerks at 95 lbs for women
  • 3 Bar-facing burpees

I did this in just under 8 minutes, and it was a perfect short workout. I then ran a bit to finish it off.
